🛒 Groceries

The shopping list organized the way you actually walk through the supermarket: by department (produce, dairy, cleaning…). That way nothing gets forgotten and you're not going back and forth between aisles.

What it is

A shopping list split into departments with an icon and color. Each department gathers its items, and you check off what you've already put in the cart. You can save item sets as favorites to reuse every week.

What it's for

  • Build the shopping list grouped by supermarket section.
  • Check off items as you grab them, without losing track.
  • Reuse recurring lists (the monthly shop, the weekly basics).

How to use (step by step)

  1. Create a department (e.g. "Produce") with an icon and color.
  2. Add items to it (e.g. banana, lettuce, tomato).
  3. Repeat for the other departments (Bakery, Cleaning, Drinks…).
  4. At the store, tap items to check them off as you add them to the cart.
  5. To reuse, save selections as favorites and later apply a favorite to the list — choosing merge (adds to the current items) or replace.

Favorites (recurring lists)

  • Save the set you always buy (e.g. "Monthly shop") as a favorite.
  • When starting a new shop, apply the favorite to fill the list at once.
  • When applying, choose to merge with what's already on the list or replace everything.

Filling examples

  • Monthly shop → full departments, saved as a favorite to reapply every month.
  • Weekend barbecue → a "Barbecue" favorite with meats, charcoal, drinks.
  • Quick restock → just the essentials that ran out, checked off through the week.

Tips to get the most out of it

  • Order the departments in your store's sequence — the list becomes a route.
  • Favorites by occasion: keep separate lists for everyday, parties and specific recipes.
  • Merge Ă— replace: use merge to complement the current list and replace when starting from scratch.
